ANOTHER NEW EPISODE! “Seeds from the Suicide Tree”

We had a short circuit a couple of days ago that lasted, at it’s peak of operations, I wanna say three days. That’s what results if you overload a power conduit, a wire or a serial bus. The wire or the bus melts and we see some smoke, and that one broken link disrupts the communication, and the power goes out. When I started observing the behavior, I wondered if it was possible this was the cycle of conditioning being interrupted by the short circuit that caused what I can only call “shared madness.” I know emotions can run high. We’re human. I know that. In those three days, I was surrounded by people who … this is hard to say. I was surrounded by people who turned into … monsters, or maybe monsters is too harsh a word. Maybe they were robots, given the contradictory result of a calculation they were told was solved.

Now, we have the misdirected anger, the first stage. It’s like a laser in a mirror ball, with destructive energy indiscriminately aimed at everything and everyone, even friends and loved ones. How did it become so personal? Isn’t this a struggle between two candidates? Join us for a lively discussion of how it happened, and why seeming normal, reasonable people went mad on that chilly Wednesday last week.

BRAND-SPANKING-NEW EPISODE! “A Confederacy of Douchebags (Part Three)!”

BRAND-SPANKING-NEW EPISODE! A couple of things. Jay-Z needs to seriously shut up. You shot your big brother because he took your chains. Anthony Weiner needs to seriously stop showing us all of his short-comings. Your wife is an idiot. Liberals need to stop being frightened. Nobody’s gonna stop you from having abortions. Conservatives need to stop being paranoid. Nobody’s gonna take your guns away from you. Beyonce envisions a future where her multi-millionaire children will have as many opportunities as white people. I have an unofficial rule as part of our social contract. Blacks get to be bald, and whites get to have tattoos, and never the twain shall meet. We all look better that way! As Mos Def would say, “Fuke dot sheet!” Don’t get me started on Trump! I’m done.

NEW PODCAST: “Carbon Scoring All Over My Droid!”

Carbon-Scoring-All-Over-My-Droid

You’ll get very angry people preaching income equality, right, but then you go up to them and suggest that a customer service rep at Best Buy get $100,000 a year. They’ll laugh and say, “come on you’re being silly now!” Why, I wonder? Why is that silly? They only want to give you what they think you deserve. This is a form of elitism. Hollywood actors and actresses, mostly actresses routinely complain that they’re paid far less than male actors, when the reality is that actors and actresses are all ridiculously overpaid for what they do anyway. If I had my way, I would pay the craftsmen, editors, costume designers, set decorators far more than I would pay any actor, but that’s me.

Remember Chelsea Clinton’s wedding? $3 million dollars. Hillary wants to be President. I just want to put it out there. That’s all. $3 million dollars. Most weddings don’t cost that kind of money. My wedding cost about a grand and we had food and drinks. I was a Best Man at my friend’s wedding, a more formal affair and a lot of guests, topped out at $25,000 and it was a very lavish ceremony and reception. If I spent $3 million dollars for my daughter’s wedding, I mean I love my daughter, I want to provide for her, I want her to be safe, I want her to be happy, I would risk my life for her, I would kill for her, but if I spent $3 million dollars on her wedding, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t give a rat’s ass for income equality.

The school district in Milford, Connecticut, has cancelled Halloween in all of its schools because too many kids felt “excluded”.

In a letter sent home with kids last week, parents learned that the Halloween parades at district schools, beloved by parents and kids for generations, are no more. Further, kids and school employees are forbidden from wearing costumes. Classrooms can have decorations, but they must be fall-themed, not Halloween-themed. And candy is out (food allergies).

As part of a redesign that will be unveiled next March, the print edition of Playboy will still feature women in provocative poses. But they will no longer be fully nude. For a generation of American men, reading Playboy was a cultural rite, an illicit thrill consumed by flashlight. Now every teenage boy has an Internet-connected phone instead. Pornographic magazines, even those as storied as Playboy, have lost their shock value, their commercial value and their cultural relevance.

No Nudes Is Good Nudes!

BlissVille Fridays: “I Pulled My Muscle For Michelle”

I Pulled My Muscle For Michelle

NEW LOST EPISODE!

Liberals (and liberal feminists) are once again caught in a sticky situation, tethered to old, outmoded concepts while simultaneously attempting to reach to the stars for more progressive attitudes. Of course, I’m talking about Hookers For Hillary.
This is from Daily Beast:
Nevada’s infamous brothel Moonlite Bunny Ranch has launched a campaign dubbed “Hookers For Hillary.” The lovable ladies have come out in support of our former first lady in a serious, potentially large-scale campaign. These Everyday Americans have chosen their candidate.
Or their “champion”, as I would put it.
The impetus of such a decision on their part seems to be that for the first time ever in the history of prostitution, health care concerns have become manageable, but this is where they lose me because it wasn’t Hillary Clinton who pushed through the first legislation regarding health care in this country, and also if you’ve read the Affordable Care Act as drafted by the Obama Administration, it isn’t about health insurance or health care – it’s about creating a marketplace, that’s really it.
Hillary Clinton is an old-fashioned lady, one of several in the Nation that views prostitution and sex work as evil and amoral, and should be stamped out at all costs, so she’s getting an endorsement from her enemies and this very much reminds me of the Cougars from 2007-2008.
Now, you know Hillary is not going to want to have anything to do with this, right? How does she ignore Hookers For Hillary? How does she pretend they don’t exist?

It should go without saying (at this point) that Andrew and I have fairly loose tongues and we tend to pepper our speech with obscenity and profanity.  This is because we record a podcast in an atmosphere where we like to be comfortable.  If you are easily offended by harsh or foul language and terse pronouncements, don’t listen.
